Moon Phase
February 21st 2008 09:42
I just put the Moon Phase module on the right hand column of The Pagan Path blog. You can sign up, for free, to use the moon phase module on your website or blog.
You can display the moon phase data in either a vertical or horizontal format. I went with the vertical format so it would fit on the side column of this site.
Additional information from the Moon Phase website:
How to use the Daily Moon Phases (Current Phase) Module
If you'd like to check the moon phases every day, here is a handy little module for you to use. You can use it in three ways:
1) Customize it and put it on your website.
2) Bookmark it in your web browser.
3) Add it to your Google Personalized Homepage.
You can actually check it anytime not just once daily, as it gives the current moon at any given moment. For more detailed, more accurate moon data including past and future phases, look at QuickPhase Pro.
To add a moon phases module to your website, use the form shown on the moon phase website. Simply choose the module you want, then click "Show Module and Get HTML". Or, you can customize it by changing any of the fields shown. Then highlight ALL the HTML, copy, and paste it wherever you want it to appear on your webpage.
But first, you must register (use the short form at bottom of the moon phase page). Why? For one thing, it is the only way I can reach you if I make an important update to the code -- which affects how it is displayed on your site. Registration also helps me manage this whole project -- where and how this little creation is used, my server resources (the core module code is hosted on my server), and the like. If you have cookies enabled in your web browser you won't even have to "login" in the future.
